Oral to Print

spiralCultures whose knowledge is held as oral history are often poorly served by the translation of that history into print. I have eight years experience editing Native American talks, speeches, and addresses for a print publication, using layout, typography, punctuation, and graphics to suggest the rhythm and cadences.

Contact me with details about your job. Please provide a recording of the speaker and a literal transcription, if possible. I will edit in Microsoft Word (Track Changes) and produce a print-ready file in Quark XPress.

$100 per hour.
