Medieval Art in the Margins is an informal, story-telling space primarily for art historians to allow the accidents of life to illuminate a medieval work. It is a space to demonstrate that medieval art is alive, that it still works. We cannot, of course, know for sure how medieval art acted at the time it was created, but such moments as we share here may help us to reach across time.
